Join us on this journey of self discovery & growth.
We establish a dedicated support team for each young adult. By leveraging incidental learning and aligning with their interests and initiatives, we craft enriching educational experiences. Our commitment to providing continuous and impactful support underscores our genuine concern for the well-being of your young adult.
With the IBSS’ Co-founders having 20 years of experience collectively we provide our team with regular holistic training on shift & provide support & advice as required. We have an incredibly diverse and talented team of nurses, teacher aides, uni students studying psychology, paramedics & creative engineers.
We have thoroughly enjoyed assisting the young adults within the IBSS team. Our support has focused on helping them transition from mainstream schooling to distance education. It has been a privilege to aid a young lady in being a part of the state disability bowling team in 2024. Additionally, we have helped a young lady explore her interest in support work and guided her along the path to becoming a support worker.

Kilometers:
We understand that Kms add up quickly, we try to aim for as little travel as possible. Where possible we team teens and support workers up in one car to help cut on kms costs.
Personal Costs
As NDIS does not cover the expenses for activities, parents are required to bear the costs of both activities and food. Some activities do require a pre-booking, if this is the case IBSS will pay the cost up front and send through the receipt to parents for re-imbursement.
Our goal is to always maintain affordability when it comes to food and activities.
Pick Ups:
Pickup times differ depending on the planned program, location of pickup can be either from the young adults home or a mutually agreed location (both options offer flexibility).
Activities:
The activities are tailored to enhance the independence skills of the young adults, aligning with their desired professions. The day might revolve around community independence skills like using public transport and improving money management. It could also involve studying at a library to prepare for assessments or tests, and enhancing their English and math abilities.
Drop Offs:
Dropoff times differ depending on the planned program, location of dropoff can be either from the young adults home or a mutually agreed location (both options offer flexibility).
